U.S. stocks opened broadly lower, with the Dow Jones down 0.53%, the S&P 500 index down 0.95%, and the Nasdaq down 1.48%. Tesla (TSLA.O) fell by 8.63% as its Q2 net profit was below expectations; Alphabet (GOOG.O) dropped by 4.69%, despite its Q2 performance exceeding expectations, it is expected that capital expenditure will increase within the year.
