Initial deadline for filing cryptocurrency loss claims in Terraform Labs bankruptcy case set for August 22
On July 23rd, Terra released an important community notice stating that the preliminary deadline for submitting claims for cryptocurrency losses in the 11th chapter bankruptcy cases of Terraform Labs Pte Ltd (TFL) and Terraform Labs Limited (TLL) is August 22nd, 2024 at 5:00 AM Beijing time. Users who submit claims against TFL before January 21st, 2024 and against TLL before July 1st, 2024 must do so before August 22nd, 2024.
Terra states that to avoid ambiguity, the preliminary deadline for cryptocurrency loss claims is only for the purpose of the 11th chapter plan vote and does not apply to allowances or distributions, which will be addressed in the 11th chapter plan.
