More than 90% of Bitcoin sales by German law enforcement agencies are conducted through OTC, with no direct impact on the market

Odaily News Odaily Planet Daily News According to the official website of the German state of Saxony, the General Prosecutors Office of Saxony sold nearly 50,000 bitcoins in about three and a half weeks, with each sale amounting to less than 1% of the market transaction volume, of which more than 90% were conducted through the over-the-counter (OTC) market to ensure the least impact on the price of bitcoin. The sale raised a total of 2.63968 billion euros, and the funds will be temporarily kept in the criminal proceedings of the movie2k case of the Leipzig District Court until the final ruling of the case. Earlier today, it was reported that German law enforcement agencies sold nearly 50,000 bitcoins in total, netting about 2.88 billion US dollars.
