VanEck to Provide French Pension Plans with Bitcoin Exposure

Odaily News VanEck has partnered with Inter Invest to offer the first exposure to Bitcoin to French pension savings plans through its
Bitcoin exchange-traded note (ETN). $407 million worth of VanEck Bitcoin ETN (VBTC) will be offered to French Pension Savings Plan (PER) investors, the first time French pension plan investors have access to digital asset exposure. VBTC is fully collateralized and physically replicates the
MarketVector Bitcoin VWAP Closing Index. The ETN has a total expense ratio of 1%. VanEck cautions that investors should be “fully aware of the inherent volatility of cryptocurrencies.” (etfstream)
