EOS Network Foundation announces the release of EOS EVM contract and EOS EVM node version 1.0.0
The EOS Network Foundation announced the release of EOS EVM contracts and EOS EVM Node version 1.0.0, which introduces support for the Shanghai and London hard forks and a new dynamic gas fee algorithm. In addition, EOSEVM now officially supports multiple versions and can execute hard forks when new EIPs are adopted in future versions. EOS EVM 1.0 is scheduled to be released in early August and is currently undergoing a release candidate process. This major update will affect users currently running EOS EVM mainnet nodes.
