Dangerous Things and VivoKey Technologies, headquartered in Seattle, have launched an encrypted cryptocurrency wallet that can be implanted under the skin using NFC and RFID technology to achieve secure cryptocurrency transactions.

According to official sources, "These wallets are hardware wallets used to send encrypted currency. Your mobile application is your interface, but it does not have any private keys. Private keys and actual signatures for Bitcoin or encrypted transactions are completed in the chip." The retail price of the implanted device Apex Flex is $349.

Dangerous Things and VivoKey were established in 2013 and 2017 respectively, specializing in customized installation of near-field communication (NFC) and radio frequency identification (RFID) technology in the human body.
