Bitwise Reveals Plans to Waive Fees for Ethereum Spot ETF in S-1 Update
Bitwise has made early modifications to its Ethereum spot ETF S-1 registration statement submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission on July 3, including exempting the first $500 million of trust assets from underwriting fees for the first six months. The document did not include a specific launch date for trading on the New York Stock Exchange's Arca, but stated that it will start "as soon as possible" after the registration becomes effective.
Previously, Jinse Finance reported that Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart commented on Bitwise's revised Ethereum ETF S-1 form, suggesting that the Ethereum spot ETF product may be listed later next week or during the week of July 15.
