Aleo to Launch Testnet Validator Incentive Program from July 1 to 15

On June 29, it was announced that the data privacy platform Aleo will launch a testnet validator incentive program from July 1 to 15. The goal of this incentive program is to validate the coinbase reward mechanism and underlying puzzles. To this end, the Aleo Network Foundation will provide 1 million points to validators. Each validator will receive mainnet points proportional to the testnet points they earn during the incentive period. The minimum reward is 1,000 mainnet points; any validator earning less than this amount will not be eligible for the reward. The announcement specifically noted that the points earned during this incentive period will be distributed after the mainnet launch. Aleo points will be used as the payment mechanism for Aleo mainnet services.
