Chamber of Digital Commerce raises privacy concerns over IRS crypto tax proposal

Odaily News The Digital Chamber of Commerce has submitted feedback on the IRSs proposed 1099-DA form for reporting digital asset transactions. The Chambers detailed response aims to simplify the form, make it easier for brokers dealing with digital assets such as cryptocurrencies, and address taxpayer privacy concerns, including requiring taxpayers to provide only the necessary information to report digital asset transactions.
