MilkyWay will postpone the launch of MILK tokens until the second half of the year
News on June 21, Celestia's liquidity staking protocol MilkyWay announced that the launch of its MILK token will be postponed until after the Modular Restaking Hub goes live, which is expected to happen in the second half of this year. The official statement said that the team will continue to operate the mPoints system until the token is launched and will introduce new changes to gamify the system through more activities such as reward points events. In addition, officials will distribute Milky Badges to staking users in four batches. The first batch is for users from December 18, 2023, to February 14, 2024; the second batch is for users from February 15, 2024, to April 1, 2024; the third batch is for users from April 2, 2024,to May9 ,2024; and fourth batch is for users from May10 ,2024,to June15 ,2024.If a user has participated in staking during these stages they are eligible to apply for specific Badges on their score dashboard. These Badges will serve as multipliers towards a user's final score.
