Haikou Intermediate Court: 3 people were sentenced for fraudulent fund-raising by deceiving more than 180 people into buying tens of millions of yuan
The Intermediate People's Court of Haikou recently announced that it upheld the first-instance judgment and sentenced Liu Moyan, Huang Mouzhi, and Liu Mourui to prison terms ranging from 3 to 13 years for the crime of fraudulent fundraising, and imposed fines. The defendants used the opportunity to help clients regulate their bodies and sell quantum products, vigorously promoted "Vikka Coin" as the second-generation virtual currency, and used high returns as bait to attract more than 180 investors to invest more than 16.62 million yuan through crowdfunding, direct sales, and other methods.
