Polkadot launches a new proposal to shorten the staking unlocking period from 28 days to 2 days

Odaily News Polkadots new RFC-0092 proposal proposes to shorten the unlocking period from 28 days to just two days, aiming to reduce the unbinding period of staked tokens on Polkadot, improve user experience and maintain network security. The new mechanism will significantly shorten the unlocking time on average by queuing new unlocking requests and adjusting the unlocking duration based on the queue size. (Cointelegraph)
