Nvidia reportedly reaches deal to acquire software startup Shoreline
Sources say that Nvidia has agreed to acquire Shoreline.io, a startup company that focuses on software development for developers. The company was founded by a former executive of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Sources reveal that the deal was recently reached, and Shoreline is valued at approximately $100 million. Based in Redwood City, California, Shoreline's software can identify problems and incidents in computer systems and help automate their resolution. The company was founded by Anurag Gupta, who worked at AWS for eight years, in 2019. Nvidia has become the world's largest company by market value by becoming the core of building and operating computer systems required for creating and running AI software. Nvidia has been acquiring startups but does not always disclose the acquisitions, which are not necessarily important for the $3.3 trillion company.
