BNB Chain to launch BEP-336
BNB Chain announced the launch of BEP-336, inspired by Ethereum's EIP-4844. The aim is to optimize data storage and processing on the blockchain, significantly reducing transaction costs (up to 90%).BEP 336 will be officially launched through the Haber hard fork, expected to take place on June 20th, 2023. BEP 336 introduces Blob-Carrying Transactions (BlobTx), a concept aimed at simplifying the network's transaction verification process.Blob is a temporary and cost-effective memory segment that can capture large data blocks, with each block up to 128 KB. The network does not need to verify each transaction in each block one by one, only the data attached to the Blob needs to be verified.
