Data: The total market value of tokenized treasuries now exceeds $1.5 billion
According to Bitcoin.com's article on X platform, the total market value of tokenized government bonds has now exceeded $1.5 billion. The tokenized government bond and real-world asset (RWA) protocols experienced significant growth in 2024. Since April, demand for government bonds, bonds, and cash equivalents, including tokenized assets such as US government bonds, has surged, leading to a 35% growth in the RWA track.Key players in the RWA DeFi field, @OndoFinance, have seen their total locked value (TVL) increase from $221 million to $507 million, while BlackRock's BUIDL and @FTI_US's FOBXX have reported growth of 65% and nearly 27%, respectively.
