Bloomberg: Many industry insiders expect that the demand for spot Ethereum ETFs may be much lower than that of Bitcoin
Analysts stated that the demand for spot Ethereum ETFs may be far lower than that of spot Bitcoin ETFs. Caroline Bowler, CEO of BTC Markets Pty, stated that "Ethereum doesn't have the same level of recognition as Bitcoin." She added that Bitcoin's market value is $1.4 trillion, three times that of Ethereum, so she believes "it won't have the same impact." Morgan Stanley strategist Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou estimates that the proposed Ethereum investment portfolio will attract "moderate" net inflows of $1 billion to $3 billion for the remainder of the year. Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, says these products may struggle to capture 20% of the assets of US Bitcoin ETFs, which currently have assets under management of $62.5 billion. Vetle Lunde, senior research analyst at K33 research, is optimistic and predicts that there will be $4 billion in net inflows in the first five months, and that "the absorption of the huge supply shock" will boost Ethereum.
