Alchemix DAO to Donate 15 ETH to Alexey & Roman Legal Defense Fund
PANews reported on May 24 that according to the latest proposal vote, Alchemix DAO will donate 15 ETH to the legal defense fund (Free Alexey & Roman) of Roman Storm and Alexey Pertsev.
Two developers who contributed to Tornado Cash, Alexey Pertsev and Roman Storm, were arrested in different jurisdictions following OFAC sanctions in 2022. Their 2024 trial sets an important precedent for developers, privacy protocols, and the broader crypto industry. Alexey's first trial was held on March 26 this year (the verdict and further potential legal actions are scheduled for mid-May), and Roman's trial is scheduled for late September.
