Standard Chartered predicts Bitcoin to hit $150k this year
As Bitcoin surpasses $69,000, financial institutions and their analysts are making predictions about its potential price in the future. Standard Chartered, an international cross-border bank, has made a bullish prediction that Bitcoin could reach new all-time highs above $73,700, potentially by the weekend. This surge is attributed to recent inflows into Spot Bitcoin ETFs, which have recorded inflows exceeding $13 billion since their launch on January 11. Standard Chartered's Head of EM FX Research and Crypto Research, Geoff Kendrick, also believes that the potential approval of Ethereum Spot ETFs by the SEC could significantly impact Bitcoin's price dynamics, potentially leading to a rise to $150,000 by the end of 2024 and $200,000 in 2025.
