Crypto investment fund executive sentenced to 3 years in prison for $55 million scheme
Lilian Nurieva, former network director of the Russian cryptocurrency investment fund Finiko, was sentenced to three years in prison for defrauding private investors and participating in organized crime groups. The Federal Investors and Shareholders' Rights Protection Fund believes that this $55 million pyramid scheme is the second largest financial fraud in post-Soviet Russian history.
