Alert: Beware of phishing websites related to pump.fun
PANews reported on May 20 that a phishing message appeared under a tweet by pump.fun yesterday regarding a "post-analysis of token migration issues." The phishing tweet claimed, "Due to recent vulnerabilities, we have allocated a compensation fund for all users who lost funds. Click the link to view." Some users reported falling for it, as the website in the link closely resembled the official site.
PANews reminds users to be wary of this phishing link. Additionally, the phishing tweet received thousands of likes and retweets, while the number of views was only 156. Observing whether there is a significant discrepancy between the number of likes, retweets, and views is a preliminary method to identify phishing posts.
