Ripple's Q1 XRP Market Report: Spot Trading Volume Soars to $865 Million, Up 40% QoQ
PANews reported on May 19 that Ripple officially released the Q1 2024 XRP Market Report. Data shows that in the first quarter of this year, XRP spot trading volume (average daily trading volume) surged to $865 million, a 40% increase compared to the fourth quarter of 2023. Binance, Bybit, and Upbit accounted for more than 70% of the total trading volume. The average daily open interest of XRP derivatives in the first quarter of this year was $500 million, compared to $460 million in the fourth quarter of last year. As of March 31, 2024, Ripple held a total of 4,836,166,156 XRP, with a total of 40,100,000,005 XRP in ledger custody.
