MakerDAO founder: Decentralized stablecoin PureDai will be launched in a few years
Rune Christensen, the founder of MakerDAO, stated that PureDai will serve as a fully decentralized replacement for Dai in the future. PureDai will use Ethereum and stETH as collateral. Once PureDai is launched, Dai holders will be able to choose to upgrade to PureDai, which is expected to happen within a few years.
