Ardoino reiterated the security of the Tether ecosystem and listed notable situations, including: USDT is the most widely used stablecoin in the world, with hundreds of millions of users in major emerging markets and developing countries.Tether stablecoins comply with OFAC/SDN regulations.Tether has an internal investigation team that relies on various tools to monitor primary and secondary markets.Tether has collaborated with 124 law enforcement agencies in over 40 different countries since its inception.Tether has frozen over $1.3 billion since its inception, mainly related to fraud, hacking, and machine learning.
