Since Uniswap Fees Increased, Developers Earn Over $145K a Day Through Ethereum Frontend Alone
In mid-April, Uniswap Labs increased its exchange fee on its interface from 0.15% to 0.25%, which applies to most (but not all) swaps executed through the Uniswap network interface and wallet. The fee has affected the popularity of the Uniswap interface, with the frontend still accounting for 30% of DEX activity in April, down from 35.8% in March. However, the frontend is still helping Uniswap Labs to fund itself, with developers earning over $145,000 per day in revenue from the Ethereum frontend since the fee increase.
