Mode: Season 2 will last until September 6 and will distribute 500 million MODE tokens
On May 6th, Mode's L2 network Mode, built on OPStack, started Season 2, which will continue until September 6th, 2024. Season 2 airdrop has already distributed 500 million MODE tokens (5% of the total supply), and will provide up to 1 million OP tokens through various incentive activities. In addition, the official will introduce new assets including Velodrome, Balancer, and other applications, Ethena's USDe and sUSDe, as well as MODE staking, and users can participate to receive score multipliers and ecosystem airdrops.
As previously reported by Jinse Finance, Mode will launch governance token MODE on May 7th. The total supply is 10 billion, of which 5.5% is dedicated to the first of two user airdrops. The second airdrop will run from May 5th to September 6th, during which another 500 million tokens will be distributed.
