friend.tech postpones $5 million FRIEND token airdrop to May 5
friend.tech plans to airdrop $5 million worth of FRIEND tokens to thousands of users on Sunday, which is a few days later than originally planned. These tokens will be distributed to 6,000 wallets on May 5th. The reason for the delay in the airdrop is unclear, and friend.tech has not yet commented on it.
Yesterday, it was reported that friend.tech was preparing to release version 2 and conduct an airdrop on May 3rd, but a leaked smart contract showed that the airdropped tokens POINT may not be transferable, which means that recipients of the airdrop will not be able to sell or exchange the tokens, except for certain whitelisted protocol addresses.
