Jito and other 6 projects are building Solana re-staking services
Jito, a staking project based on Solana, is building a re-staking service, as reported by CoinDesk citing insiders. Meanwhile, CoinDesk's investigation found that at least six teams are building Solana re-staking, such as Solayer Labs, Cambrian, Picasso, DePHY, Repl. Gennady Evstratov, founder of Cambrian, said the team is finalizing a $2.5 million financing deal, with three investors valuing it at about $25 million. Cambrian plans to launch its re-staking network at the end of the second quarter or the beginning of the third quarter, and to launch a points plan and coin issuance. It is reported that Solayer Labs has not yet launched, and three VCs familiar with the situation said Solayer hopes to complete a $8 million seed round financing at a valuation of $80 million, with Polychain Capital leading with $4 million. Rachel Chu of Solayer Labs said they are close to raising $10 million, with Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko participating. Meanwhile, Solayer Labs is developing a multi-stage points plan.
