Chiliz Chain to undergo Dragon8 hard fork on May 21
Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of the sports and entertainment public chain Chiliz Chain, announced on his social media platform that the Dragon8 hard fork of ChilizChain will be officially launched on May 21, introducing Token Economics 2.0. It is reported that the new economics will set the first-year inflation rate of CHZ at 8.8%, decreasing year by year. In addition, the protocol will introduce a mechanism similar to EIP-1559, and some CHZ tokens used as gas will be directly destroyed.
