Bitinfocharts: BTC network computing power increased by more than 90% in the past 12 months
According to Bitinfocharts data, the current average hash rate of the BTC network is 618 EH/s, reaching a historical high of 728 EH/s on April 23. In the past 12 months, the hash rate of the BTC network has increased by more than 90%, so it is particularly impressive that an independent miner recently received a block reward of 3.125 BTC. Earlier, Con Kolivas, a software engineer and administrator of the independent mining pool ckpool, posted on X platform, stating that a miner had mined the 282nd independent block in Bitcoin history. At that time, the miner's hash rate was about 120 PH, equivalent to about 0.12 EH, with an average of about 12 PH per week, accounting for about 0.02% of the total network hash rate. Due to the recent reduction of the Bitcoin network block reward from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC, this means that at the time, its value was about $200,000 based on the BTC price.
