MacroScope: More wealth managers are expected to hold Bitcoin ETFs by mid-May
MacroScope posted on social media regarding the update of the 13F filings for Bitcoin ETFs and summarized the following points: 1. As the mid-May deadline approaches, larger positions are expected to be seen; 2. So far, the filings show that wealth managers have a favorable view of these ETFs; 3. Many wealth managers holding Bitcoin ETFs are located in the Midwest/Central region of the United States, which is typically more conservative in its thinking. Their holdings of Bitcoin ETFs may indicate long-term concerns about inflation and the US debt situation. Yesterday, a report by Fielder Capital supported these views. The financial advisory firm in Tennessee reported holding 377,524 shares of the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF, valued at $14.6 million, which is the third largest position in their entire investment portfolio. Fielder also reported holding 130,756 shares of Grayscale BTC, valued at $8.2 million, with a total portfolio value of $223.7 million.
