According to a new class action lawsuit filed in Canada, Binance is accused of violating local securities laws. On April 19th, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice issued a certification motion to bring a class action lawsuit against Binance, accusing the company of selling cryptocurrency derivative products to retail investors without registration. According to the plaintiffs represented by Christopher Lochan and Jeremy Leeder, Binance violated the Ontario Securities Act (OSA) and federal law by selling cryptocurrency derivative products.
