Ordinals Developer: Ordinals is NFT on Bitcoin, Runes is memecoin on Bitcoin
Ordinals developer Leonidas tweeted a prediction about the evolution of Runes:
1. The Runes protocol was launched, and some technical personnel used it, but ordinary users complained about the poor user experience, and medium-sized influencers ignored Runes.
2. The user experience improved, and some large exchanges launched Runes, but medium-sized influencers still denied Runes and waited for the increase in Runes market value.
3. After the market overheated and adjusted, medium-sized influencers began to accuse Runes of being just a temporary trend.
4. The builders continued to work hard to attract more mainstream investors and make early holders profitable. Medium-sized influencers secretly followed Runes, waiting for the opportunity to buy low and promoting it publicly.
It is stated that Ordinals are just NFTs on Bitcoin, and Runes are just memecoins on Bitcoin.
