Arkham: Vitalik, Coinbase, and several whales have millions of dollars in crypto assets in bridge contracts
On April 23rd, Arkham posted on the X platform that there are large amounts of "forgotten" encrypted assets in dozens of bridging contracts, including wallets belonging to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Coinbase, and several DeFi whales. These include:
- thomasg.eth has $800,000 in assets stuck in Arbitrum bridging for about 1 year and 10 months;
- Bofur Capital has $1.8 million in assets stuck in Arbitrum bridging for about 2 years and 3 months;
- MikeMac has $117,000 in assets stuck for about 5 months;
- Vitalik has $1.05 million in assets stuck in Optimism bridging for about 7 months;
- Coinbase has $75,000 in assets stuck in Optimism bridging for about 6 months.
