Sui mainnet launches Move 2024 version, adding new features such as location fields and loop tags
On April 22nd, Sui Network announced that its Move 2024 version had been launched on the mainnet. The Move 2024 version provides new features, including method syntax, position fields, and loop tags, making it easier to write and read Move. There are two options for migrating projects to the Move 2024 Beta version: delete the existing Move.lock file (if it exists) to ensure the use of the latest sui-framework version, or run automatic migration in the root directory of the Move project.
