Trust Wallet: Apple iMessage has a high-risk zero-day vulnerability that can be exploited by hackers
Trust Wallet posted on X platform, stating that hackers are selling a zero-day exploit program for Apple's iMessage on the dark web, according to reliable intelligence sources. This vulnerability can remotely invade iPhones without the need for users to click on any links, and is likely to target high-value individuals. The risk of being discovered increases with each use.
To prevent this vulnerability in the iOS version of iMessage, Trust Wallet suggests that users immediately disable the iMessage feature before Apple releases a security patch. The specific steps are: Settings -> Messages -> Turn off the iMessage switch. Keep iMessage turned off until Apple fixes the vulnerability.
