Glassnode: The proportion of inactive Bitcoin supply for one year has dropped to an 18-month low
According to data tracked by blockchain analysis company Glassnode, the percentage of Bitcoin circulating supply that has not moved on-chain for at least a year has dropped to its lowest level since October 2022. On Monday, 12.95 million BTC (equivalent to 65.84% of the circulating supply) have remained unchanged for over a year, marking the lowest proportion since October 2022. In mid-January this year, nearly 12 spot ETFs were listed in the United States, after which this metric briefly exceeded 70% and has been declining ever since. Since late December last year, the proportion of BTC circulating supply that has remained unchanged for at least two years has decreased from 57.4% to 54%.
