Base's transaction volume in the past 30 days has exceeded 50 million, surpassing Ethereum and Arbitrum
As the market value of Meme tokens fell below 1.6 billion US dollars, Base became the main beneficiary of MemeCoin activity. Data shows that Base's trading volume in the past 30 days reached 50.34 million transactions, surpassing Ethereum's 37.9 million transactions and Arbitrum's 40.1 million transactions. Its TPS increased by 29.7% within a week, reaching 35.19 TPS in the past day, higher than the total of Ethereum's 13.91 TPS and Arbitrum's 16.61 TPS. In addition, Base TVL is the only one of the top five L2s that is growing, with Starknet's TVL decreasing the most at 10.2%, while Optimism decreased by 9.1%, Arbitrum decreased by 5.5%, and Blast decreased by 2.4%. However, the number of phishing scams on the Base chain increased by 18 times from January to March, and the amount stolen on the chain last month reached 3.35 million US dollars.
