OpenSea supports token bridging and swapping capabilities in its NFT marketplace, currently supporting seven chains
OpenSea now supports token bridging and exchange functionality in its NFT marketplace, allowing users to seamlessly transfer assets between seven chains including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Zora, and Polygon. This feature supports the exchange of ETH, WETH, USDC, MATIC, and DAI, and utilizes Socket's liquidity aggregation protocol.
OpenSea may charge bridging fees in the future, but the bridging services currently provided do not incur any additional fees. Socket's bridging plugin allows dapp developers to build their own bridging, including custom widget design, preset chain selection, approved bridging lists, and selected token lists. This feature requires minimal coding work to implement bridging.
