The US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced sanctions against six entities located in Liberia, India, Vietnam, Lebanon, and Kuwait. The sanctioned entities are suspected of facilitating commodity transportation and financial transactions, including providing cryptocurrency to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force (IRGC-QF), Houthi militants, and Hezbollah. Among them is Tawfiq Muhammad Sa'id al-Law, a Syrian currency exchange dealer based in Lebanon.
