CertiK: Total losses from encryption private key leaks in March amounted to at least $22.96 million
According to a report released by CertiK, there were 9 incidents of private key compromise (PKC) from March 12 to March 16, resulting in a total loss of at least $22.96 million in March, with losses exceeding $1 million in 5 of the incidents. These incidents indicate that private key leaks may cause sustained damage to the Web3 ecosystem, with such attacks resulting in a loss of approximately $239 million by 2024.
