Trump-owned social media company Truth Social could go public as early as next week

On March 22, it was announced that former US President Trump's Twitter clone, Truth Social, which was launched in 2022, will become a public company as early as next week. On Friday, shareholders of blank check company Digital World Acquisition Corp. approved the merger with Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of Truth Social. This vote effectively increased Trump's net worth by billions of dollars, although he cannot sell any shares for at least six months.
