ZachXBT: Robert Robb, the MEV engineer who defrauded $1.2 million in 2023, has been arrested
On March 21st, according to a post by blockchain investigator ZachXBT on X platform, MEV engineer Robert Robb was arrested earlier today in Las Vegas based on records from the Henderson Police Department in Nevada, United States. In December 2023, he published an article detailing how he stole over $1.2 million from 11 people and exposing his previous history of fraud. Since then, ZachXBT has been helping the victims seek justice. ZachXBT stated that although it cannot be determined until court documents are released, there may be other reasons for this arrest. In December last year, ZachXBT posted on X platform that MEV engineer pokerbrat raised at least $1.2 million from 11 people earlier this year for various MEV bots (independent of Rampage) and claimed that these bots would be put into use soon. However, after initially agreeing to return the funds due to numerous delays in releases, Poker Brat made various excuses including COVID-19, health issues, exchange issues, extortion, and family problems.
