Russian lawmakers have proposed a bill to expand anti-money laundering controls to digital ruble transactions. The proposal is led by Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the Financial Market Committee of the State Duma, and establishes different responsibilities for platform participants and the Central Bank of Russia, which has been appointed as the main anti-money laundering entity of the system.
