ETH Vietnam will use aMACI for voting for the first time
On March 14th, it was announced that the ETH Vietnam hackathon will use the global geek movement platform DoraHacks.io for anonymous MACI voting. DoraHacks' anonymous MACI (aMACI) allows MACI voting users to arbitrarily change their voting keys. When a user changes their voting key, the administrator cannot know the user's new key, enabling MACI to gradually achieve unconditional anonymity. aMACI implements the solution of "anonymous MACI through ElGamal random function" in the Ethereum community. It is an anonymous MACI implementation solution that does not rely on multi-party secure computation. This ETH Vietnam hackathon voting round is the first time that anonymous MACI voting technology has been used in a medium to large-scale encryption event. The official voting will begin on the afternoon of March 17th, and voting registration will begin at 12:00 on March 14th.
