JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon Continues to Distance Himself from Bitcoin Despite Record High Price
The price of Bitcoin has reached a record high of over $72,000 due to a recent surge, but JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon remains unconvinced of its value. Dimon, a long-time critic of the cryptocurrency, spoke at the Australian Financial Review business summit and warned investors to be cautious of its volatile nature. He also criticized Bitcoin for being used for illegal activities and suggested that its high price may indicate a bubble that bullish buyers are ignoring. Despite his concerns, Dimon defended people's right to purchase Bitcoin, but stated that he personally would never buy it.
