USD capacity in Lightning Network payment channels reaches $325 million, a record high
The US dollar capacity in the Lightning Network payment channel has nearly reached $325 million, with a 37% increase in the past month, setting a new historical high. In addition, the Bitcoin capacity is currently at 4,680 coins, which is 17% lower than the historical high.
It is reported that the capacity of the Lightning Network refers to the bi-directional payment channel built on the Bitcoin blockchain that locks in US dollars and bitcoins, enabling fast and low-cost transactions and final settlement on the Bitcoin blockchain.
