Scroll adds support for Cosmos IBC via interop layer Union
According to official announcements, Cosmos IBC has gone live on Ethereum's L2 Scroll. This feature is enabled through the interoperability layer Union, allowing assets and messages to be transferred from any IBC-supporting chain to Scroll through its trustless and decentralized zkIBC bridge. This partnership makes Union the Type 2 zkEVM entrance and exit IBC gateway for Scroll. Over the next few months, developers working with Scroll will be able to seamlessly integrate IBC into their applications through Union, enabling efficient and speedy asset transfers without the need for trust.
