Fireblocks: may consider IPO after next 2-3 years
Crypto-hosting company Fireblocks has been hiring heavily over the past 12 months in anticipation of a return to a strong growth trajectory in the cryptocurrency space, according to the company's CEO Michael Shaulov, who said the company has hired cybersecurity platform Snyk executive Michal Ferguson as its chief marketing officer, Payoneer (NASDAQ: PAYONEER) as its chief marketing officer, and Payoneer (NASDAQ: PAYONEER) as its chief marketing officer. Fireblocks has hired Michal Ferguson, an executive at cybersecurity platform Snyk, as chief marketing officer, Michael Levine of Payoneer (NASDAQ: PAYO) as chief financial officer, and Madan Gadde, formerly of FIS, as chief customer officer. Shaulov noted that Fireblocks is very well-funded, with most of the money raised still in reserve, but said he will be keeping a close eye on other cryptocurrency companies looking to list in the US. It makes sense that we'll see more cryptocurrency companies with the right financials IPO," he said. We don't have any sense of urgency to do it, but it's definitely something from an optionality standpoint that we'll consider - not this year, but maybe two or three years or something like that."
