Tether signs MoU with Republic of Uzbekistan to develop blockchain and peer-to-peer infrastructure
Tether announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Agency of Project and Technology Development responsible for cryptocurrency regulation and development in the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPP). This strategic partnership aims to position Uzbekistan as a hub for peer-to-peer and blockchain technology, sparking a revolution in innovation and economic growth. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said, "We are excited to partner with the National Agency of Project and Technology Development in the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPP) to explore the enormous potential of blockchain, stablecoins, and peer-to-peer telecommunications technology in Uzbekistan. This partnership reflects Tether's commitment to promoting innovation and responsible development of the global digital asset ecosystem."
