Alpaca Finance announces PYTH airdrop distribution plan, which will be rewarded to Alperp traders and more

Defi platform Alpaca Finance announced that it has received 250,000 PYTH (approximately $165,000), of which 100% will be distributed to the community.

Distribution plan is as follows:

Rewards for traders on Alperp:
Total amount: 200,000 $PYTH ($132k USD) as trading fee rebates
Maximum weekly reward: 20,000 $PYTH
Reward start date: March 14, 2024 (only trades executed starting on March 14 are eligible for rebates)
Reward end date: May 16, 2024 (may extend if rewards roll over)

Rewards for governance treasury stakers:
Total amount: 50,000 $PYTH ($33k USD)
Weekly reward: 6,250 $PYTH
Reward start date: March 14, 2024
Reward end date: April 2, 2024
